The 18th International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM 2008) focuses on current research, best practices and future trends within the areas of global competitiveness and rapidly advancing technologies in flexible automation, information management, and intelligent manufacturing.

Conference theme

The FAIM 2008 conference theme is "Decision making in manufacturing, services & logistics". Whilst the list of potential topics is fairly wide, we would like to encourage authors to focus their papers and presentations on this theme.

Proposals for special tracks and sessions and how these are to be organised can be sent to the General Chair, Professor Leo J. De Vin, the Co-Chair, Dr Amos H.C. Ng or the Honorary Co-Chairs, Professors William Sullivan and Munir Ahmad.

Abstracts/papers for special tracks will normally be invited by the special track coordinator; please select the name of the special track as first topic for your abstract (e.g., RAP Special Track for industrial PhD student papers invited by Dimiter Driankov)
